The great Zambezi River divides these two fascinating countries, each unique in its own way. The river, which rises in Zambia and flows south before turning east at the Victoria Falls, became an important highway in the development of both countries.

Zimbabwe has wonderfully diverse scenery, open plains, forests, the Matobo Hills and the softly rolling hills of the Highlands.

Zambia's Luangwa valley is renowned for its spectacular scenery and wildlife, with far flung places such as the Busanga Plains and Bangweulu Wetlands to fascinate its visitors.
